Telelink will invest €250,000 in blockchain scale-up (start-up in a more advanced phase of business development) and provide business mentoring for its project final realization. Applications from blockchain scale-ups entrepreneurs are already being collected online.
The startup pitch contest is part of the biggest Blockchain Forum in Central and Eastern Europe that brings together high-level policy-makers and global brands on 25 & 26 October, 2018 in Sofia.
Highest policy-makers from the European Commission and European Union member states, led by the Digital Commissioner will meet with global brands’ top managers to draft the decentralized agenda of Europe, to discuss regulatory, legal and tax framework and to witness best examples of blockchain for enterprise implementations. 1,000+ attendees will dive into world-class content delivered through key-note presentations, interactive panels and start-up pitches. Expo area will showcase working applications in already disrupted industries– logistics, music, social media, travel, advertising, manufacturing, financial services, legal, healthcare, insurance, energy, government and more.
Central and Eastern European entrepreneurs with blockchain solutions for the supply chain for manufacturing industries, supply chain for companies providing goods and services, as well as for the healthcare and education sectors are welcome to participate in the competition.
10 preselected blockchain scale-ups will be announced on Oct.15 and will have the chance to pitch their company in front of a recognized jury, during a dedicated panel of the top investors, an audience of C-level executives from leading global brands and European policy-makers during CEE Block Sofia (Oct.25-26).
The finalists will be evaluated by a independent jury with members: Jury Chairman – Lubo Minchev, Founder and CEO of Telelink, Bozhidar Bozhanov, Founder of LogSentinel, Elvin Guri, CEO of Empower Capital, Ivan Zhityanov, Executive Director of Telelink Business Services and Rosen Ivanov, Founder of BlackPeak Capital.
The final decision will be taken with a combined vote from the jury and the audience with respectively weights of 70% and 30%.
The main criteria are innovation, social significance – positive impact on people and society, team capacity, business model and market potential.
One start-up will win €250,000 in a competition of pre-selected scale-ups who will get to pitch live on the event main stage and face a Q&A session from the investors and the audience.
